Unorthodox

Kickstarts by Example was one of 2010's poppiest singles when it got to number 3 in the UK charts but the two follow singles didn't fare as well. Last One Standing got to number 27 in the UK and Two Lives did even worse at 84 in the charts. But it's not all over yet as Example features on Wretch 32's new grime dance single Unorthodox which will chart high in next Sunday's UK singles top 10 chart. The song features The Stone Rose Fool's Gold which you cant really go wrong with sampling.

Here's the video.

Starlight

Sophie Ellis Bextor's newest single is Starlight. It's old fashioned dance pop. She's still one of the UK's best pop stars.

.

Guilt

Me & U by Nero was one of my most listened to dance tracks earlier this year. Nero's newest single  is called Guilt and was released this week It has one of those videos that I hate but here is it anyway.

Homeboy

I went to see two music themed films recently . One was Killing Bono which has to be one of the worse films I've seen this year and the other was Country Strong which was not what I was expecting as it's subject matter was heavy and the film had been marketed as an country and western love musical story. Even though Gwyneth Paltrow was good in it I spent the entire film trying to believe that she was a hugely successful country and western singer. Tim McGraw looked v handsome indeed in it too.  I did love the soundtrack a lot, the most well known song from it is Country Strong which is a good song but there was another song called Coming Home which was pure gorgeous and of course Give In To Me by the other stars in the film Garrett Hedlund and Leighton  Meester, a song which I've loved since last January. The song I liked most during that week however was the newest song from Eric Church which is called Homeboy
