I know I sound v old when I keep going on about the type of music that used to be in the charts but I wonder will we ever return to a time when there are a lot of ballads in the charts again.
Here is one that still sounds good today. From 1993 this is Vanessa Williams and Brian McKnight and a song that featured on the soundtrack to the first Beverley Hills 90210 TV show.

Back To Ballads
