Here's a song by one of the all time great female singers, Laura Branigan. In 1984 The Lucky One was the follow up to her huge hit single Self Control . Both songs are fantastic but I love The Lucky One the most. It was a real MT USA song on RTE television and of course on MTV. I always remember feeling so sad the day I heard she had passed away.
If you haven't seen the video in a long time I hope it brings back happy memories of a time when every pop video had a narrative of some kind and that little bit of magic
